This summer, Carlo stepped onto the pro tour for the very first time. Just months earlier, he was graduating from UC Berkeley, finishing his college career ranked No. 15 in the nation for Division I tennis. Now, he’s living the reality that so many players dream of. Traveling from city to city and competing against the best.
And like every real tennis journey, it came with a mix of wins, challenges, and lessons learned.
In his very first summer as a pro, Carlo won two M15 doubles titles, one in Amstelveen and another in Serbia, and reached the singles final at the M15 in Alkmaar, taking down players ranked inside the world’s top 400 and 600. Achievements that, on paper, look like pure success, but behind them are hours of training, moments of doubt, long travel days, and the relentless belief that every match is a step forward.
At Valldoreix, we believe tennis isn’t just about the trophies, it’s about the grit it takes to get there, the humility to keep learning, and the love for the game that keeps you going when no one’s watching. Carlo’s first summer on tour is the perfect reflection of those values: hard work, resilience, and the joy of writing your own tennis story.
If this was just the first chapter, we can’t wait to see the rest of the book.
