"VALLDOREIX IS THE NAME OF A SMALL COMMUNITY IN THE SANT CUGAT DEL VALLÈS MUNICIPALITY IN BARCELONA, SPAIN. THIS NAME ENCAPSULATES THE ORIGINAL MEDITERRANEAN INSPIRATION ALONG WITH THE TENNIS CULTURE THAT THIS PARTICULAR COMMUNITY HAS."

So, I basically spent all of my savings during this last year (est. 2023) on this project. I see some of you are loving it, and I am so excited about it. However, I can’t afford to do any more campaigns. But don’t worry, Valldoreix is here to stay. I’ve decided to launch less pieces in less quantities per season from now on, pursuing a clearer path towards on and off court apparel.

The idea of Valldoreix started with bringing my cultural heritage from Spain and introducing Mediterranean and European streetwear and lifestyle into the rest of the world. However, as I progressed, I realized without noticing that I was always incorporating tennis into the brand in some way or another, as it is something I love. Even the name of the brand had a big inspiration from tennis, when it wasn't initially going to be about it.

Actually, the first design ever created was about tennis (the TENNIS & TEQUILA design) and actually the one you loved the most. There were signs I simply couldn’t see at the time. After a while, I wasn’t particularly motivated by the initial idea of just creating mediterranean inspired streetwear. I’ve been playing and passionate about tennis since I was 3 years old. My love for tennis didn’t fade and is bigger than ever, and knew I had to so something with it.

That’s why I had the idea of inventing a new type of apparel that brings the values of the sport I love into our everyday lives and the court as an ode. This is what Valldoreix is all about from now on.

If you look at the “WE MADE TOO MUCH” section, it represents the old Valldoreix, the Mediterranean/European streetwear-inspired brand before I decided Valldoreix meant something totally different. I won’t be restocking any of these pieces.

I hope you love those pieces, but Valldoreix is going to be different from now on.
